ACT - HSR Refresher Training

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This HSR Refresher Training course is recognised and approved by WorkSafe ACT and meets the requirements for Health and Safety Representative (HSR) refresher training in ACT.

AUDIENCE

This course is designed for Health & Safety Representatives (HSR’s) that have previously completed HSR 5 Day Course previously to renew the knowledge and skills Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) attained during their initial five days HSR training course.

HSRs in the Australian Capital Territory are entitled to attend a 1-day refresher course each year during their term of office (as per Section 21 of the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011). 

In this course, we will revisit all the key topics, plus we explore WHS legislation changes such as industrial manslaughter, psychological hazards and risks, penalty units for fines and much more. 

PREREQUISITES

Participants must be able to provide evidence that they have previously completed the HSR 5 Day course prior to attending this HSR Refresher training.

CERTIFICATE

Participants will receive a Health and Safety Representative Training Certificate of Attendance. This certificate is issued by Dowell Solutions – Kylie Dowell (WorkSafe ACT approved).
